LIEBE / ANGST are two fragrances whose recipe and production were created and instructed by an A.I.. By exploring our sense of smell, the question arises: to what extent do we allow technology to shape and define our most intimate, sensory experiences? The ability of algorithms to interpret and create complex human emotions and sensory experiences is presented to discussion in an intimate and unexpected way.

The piece is also about the dilemma of authenticity versus artificial replication, in an era where synthetic experiences are becoming increasingly prevalent and potentially eclipsing the human.
