works on canvas, paper, installations, large-format murals in public space
The artist lives and works in Berlin and Palma de Mallorca.
The works by artist Christian Awe impress with their color intensity, their dynamics and their rhythm. Awe combines colors and shapes in a symbiosis of spontaneity, experimentation and artistic calculation, thus creating a moment of freedom and joie de vivre for the viewer.
The focus of his complex and mostly color-intensive works is the examination of the basics of painting such as color, contrast and composition.
For Awe, color is pure life energy and passion. It embodies freedom, power and love, and can trigger feelings and emotions. Whether on canvas, paper, painting installations or large-format murals - Awe's works fascinate with their radiance and their finely nuanced vitality. In doing so, he repeatedly explores the limits of painting.

The powerful lightness of art, seemingly effortlessly captured by the artist in the intuitively playful use of color and light. Compositions of matt and shiny layers, colorful rivulets and eruptive dynamic color splashes that merge with airy, floating gestures. They unite to form poetically pulsating worlds of color that touch the senses, pave their way and sweep us away into a world of emotions.

Awe's works invite us to embark on an inspiring journey of the senses. Explosive, but also controlled; powerful and pulsating, but at the same time full of sensitivity and lightness. As a creative sign of joie de vivre, they radiate courage and confidence and give the viewer a moment full of lightheartedness and optimism.

A feeling of Belonging

Year of creation:2022
Dimensions:447x500 cm
Material:Lufthansa Cargo plastic Doors,Ink
Reserved price:€ 15.000
Estimate price:€ 15.000- 0
About the Artist:    Ian Shevack (1982) is a Berlin-based artist. For over 17 years, Ian has developed and refound his technique, Klecksography, which uses inkblots to create art.Ian´s practice is unconventional: he paints raw and unstretched canvas on the floor. This allows him to move freely on the canvas while stretching, folding, dripping, and gushing Japanese ink. His work is completed within the viewer's imagination, inspired by abstract ink forms and vivid color fields. Ian's art emancipates viewers from what the artist wants them to see to focusing on what they actually perceive.
Ian started his career in Los Angeles with an art collective named 'F.A.M' and continued painting in Berlin. He is known for his pioneering contribution to the Solar Art Panel Series, collaborating with Olafur Eliasson. Currently, he is a resident at the Starke Stiftung and represented by AK Gallery in Berlin.

Artist:Katja Koeberlin
Year of creation:2022
Dimensions:50x110x25 cm
Material:Aeroplane window, Linen board, Oil paint
Reserved price:
Estimate price:€ - 0
About the Artist:    Katja Koeberlin is a visual artist who works with various media, including painting, drawing and installation. She was born in East Berlin in 1978 and studied visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. Her working process often begins with extensive research and exploration of a topic. The conceptual idea developed from this is translated into the artistic process. In contrast to this, but also as a complement, is her painting, which she develops from within and emotionally. She uses her image archive from the internet as a visual source. In her pictures, she explores identities! Who am I, who are you, who are we, who would we like to be? Inside and outside, truth and lies, reality and fantasy. Through overlays, layers and collaged image elements, she creates encrypted portraits and messages in which dreams and reality flow into one another. An ambivalent feeling of familiarity and distance arises.

Klein, Museum Tour Deutsche Bank Collection, Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden, Goethe-Institut Los Angeles, Gallery Burster Berlin, Gallery SEPTEMBER Berlin, Autocenter Berlin, State Representation Baden-Württemberg Berlin, ZKM Karlsruhe, Kunstverein Offenburg. My photographic and sculptural works focus on physical and psychological states that are in a fragile balance, that are in danger of tipping over or being thrown out of balance. Installations and sculptures are based on minimal, very precise arrangements and usually have a surreal, almost dreamlike aura about them. The artificial spatial constructions contrast with my photographic works, which are characterized by the search for the greatest possible immediacy. Long-term pinhole camera photographs are created. I am interested in the unpredictable, overlapping and blurring in analogue photographic processes.

"Working with reduced materials in sculpture taught me to trust in the essentials. For me, every work is a real body, I say: a embodied symbol. When I work, I “slow down.” I make the properties of the material my own, I see and feel them. In my work, I practice being direct, raw, and simple. Reduced in material and thought, but not reduced in complexity. Influences are wide-ranging, and I draw nourishment from every kind of real experience. There are so many really good things in this world. Most of them are humble, quiet, and surprisingly small in our daily lives.

Consolation Nation

Artist:Marlena Podolsak
Year of creation:2022
Dimensions:70x60 cm
Material:Acrylic on canvas
Reserved price:
Estimate price:€ - 0
About the Artist:    The flood of images and their excessive, inflationary proliferation around us disturbs me, puts me in a kind of visual restlessness, but at the same time it is an indispensable source of my working process. I am driven to take objects, forms out of their original pictorial contexts and bring them together gracefully in a space that has been waiting for them.
I see Munch's scream in a Russian retro latex toy bunny.
In the tradition, pictures were often carriers of transience; today the images themselves have mutated into a symbol of hypervanitas.
My work is my obsessive-compulsive approach to this condition.

About the Artist:    Fabian Hampel (b. 1991) deals with contemporary technologies and is interested in linear, reflexive forms as well as abstract borderlands. He asks himself questions like: what if an artificial intelligence had a seizure? His practice often boils down to essayistic video works, which fictitiously approach topics such as algorithm critique or the exploration of unknown perspectives. Formally and visually, the technology in question is often used; in other words, we observe a technology that tells us about itself, while it can also only be understood as an artistic tool. In his video work This Ghost Does Exist (2020), a neural network challenges the audience to a collective hallucination. In the live video sculpture BEFORE HE PAINTED THE WATER LILIES, MONET PLANTED THEM (2017), potentially infinite online videos are summed into a single collage.
Fabian Hampel graduated with honours at the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts, where he studied in the expanded cinema class with Clemens von Wedemeyer and the photography class with Heidi Specker. His work has been shown at Le Fil, Saint-Étienne; Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig or Kunstverein Meißen, among others.

About the Artist:    Fred Unruh graduated from the Berlin Weißensee School of Art with a degree in sculpture in the class of Professor Albrecht Schäfer. He completed a guest semester in the Feldmann painting class and at the L'école des Beaux-Arts de Marseille and was a scholarship holder of the Lucia Loeser Foundation. Fred Unruh is a co-founder of the Berlin art collective Studio Huette. In addition to various exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland, and France, he has been an integral part of Culterim since 2022. Before establishing himself in the art world, he completed studies in sociology and psychology in Mannheim and Istanbul.

Artist:Friedrich Weber Goizel
Year of creation:2022
Dimensions:10x20x15 cm
Material:Mixed Media + Menschen
Reserved price:
Estimate price:€ - 0
About the Artist:    Friedrich Weber Goizel was born in Berlin in 1994, where he still lives and works today. He first studied sculpture at the HbK Braunschweig before transferring to the Space, Concept, and New Media class at the UdK Berlin. He completed his master's degree there in 2019.
Even during his studies, his work focused on the situational moment of viewing. His works arise from an equal interaction between the subjective viewer and the objective viewed.
The objective viewed
encounters the viewer as an active participant or counterpart on equal footing. While still
studying art, Friedrich Weber Goizel began to study humanoid robotics. The artistic exploration of an active world of objects seemed to inevitably lead to an engagement with technical systems and the associated social issues. These are robotic systems that give the algorithms surrounding us a “body” and thus bring them back into our analog world. From 2022 to 2025, he studied in the interdisciplinary master's program Design & Computation. As a cooperative program between the TU Berlin and the UdK Berlin, there is a focus on combining artistic and design practice with technical.
skills and methods from the natural sciences and humanities.
At the center of Friedrich Weber Goizel's artistic work and explorations
is the challenge of outlining a position in an environment increasingly shaped by technology
that does justice to the human aspect of the situation. In his often kinetic installations,
things encounter us, often humorously, as direct, active counterparts.
Based on this approach, his works can be understood as perceptual prostheses that, instead of
following narratives, aim to raise awareness of the moment. By
removing the dichotomy between actor and acted upon, subject and object, viewers are taken into account as elements responsible for continually retelling the story of the works themselves.
Friedrich Weber Goizel also works in the field of digital education and
media didactics as a mentor and workshop leader for adults and children, and heads the
“Studio 124” makerspace at a Berlin high school.

About the Artist:    Elisabeth Ehmann (born 1977 in Munich, lives and works in Berlin)

An essential component of Ehmann‘s artistic practice is the elemental experience of
collecting materials to explore creative processes. Ehmann is interested in the essential
quality of the materials she uses as well as their formal properties. The material for her collages, for example, comes from a wide variety of sources, such as art catalogs or historical journals, which she finds in antique shops, bookstores and markets throughout Europe. Her sculptures go through many different stages from wire forms to 3D scans to differently surface-treated casts, and her format-blasting collages become multidimensional spaces. A meticulous sequence of many production steps gives rise to works of subtle beauty emerge, which seem to harbor something mysterious behind the seemingly innocuous surface, without being obtrusive.

About the Artist:    Bolz moves between stage and picture space between costume and object. His designs range from dazzling worlds for the Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin to baroque operas and iconic projects for artists like David Bowie. Offstage, he creates unique pieces from found objects and recycled materials in a process that is both intuitive and experimental – transformed through traditional techniques, alienated with heat and fire.
Delicate gauze objects unfold as expansive, individual entities, while other works are transformed into serial forms through scanning and casting processes, thus populating entire installations.
Contrasts and tensions characterize his work, in which chance and design intertwine.

In addition, I exhibit with my art partner as the contamporal artist duo RLKMF at group exhibitions in Berlin..
Find new, creative ways, tell unique stories by feeding my little inside monkey with curiosity, thinking from the point of the explorer, building, branding and claim to new worlds - these are the fields of strength of my intrinsic motivation..

Fabian:
Fabian Kalker is a Franco-German composer and music producer. He studied composition and guitar and is based in Berlin, where he produces electronic music and composes for theatre, installations, and contemporary dance.

A central focus of his work lies in transformative processes: sound as a medium of change, as an experiential space between the individual and the collective. He draws inspiration from science fiction literature and from exploring new forms of communal life.

Kalker has composed theatre music for productions by Lily Sykes, Jana Vetten, Andres Veiel, and Lucia Bihler. His ongoing collaboration with director Heike M. Goetze has taken him to major venues such as Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Schauspielhaus Zurich, Theater Neumarkt Zurich, and Schauspielhaus Bochum. In addition, his music has been presented at Volkstheater Munich and Deutsches Theater Berlin.

In Berlin, his works have been shown at Sophiensaele and Radialsystem. At the same time, he has long been active in the city’s club scene, performing at Bar25, Wilde Renate, Berghain Kantine, and Funkhaus Saal 2. This dual presence between stage and club continues to shape his distinctive artistic voice.

Lives and works in Berlin

Education

University of Applied Arts, Vienna – Transmedial Art & Video

Royal University College of Fine Art, Stockholm

Artistic Practice
Simon Mullan is a German conceptual artist whose multidisciplinary work spans textile, sculpture, installation, video, and performance. Rooted in his working-class background, his practice explores themes of labor, masculinity, subculture, and identity. Mullan is recognized for transforming utilitarian and industrial materials—such as bomber jackets, ceramic tiles, uniforms, and sandpaper—into abstract and monumental artworks. By deconstructing and reassembling these everyday objects, he questions their cultural symbolism while bridging the gap between fine art and craft.

Selected Series

Alpha Series: Quilted wall works made from deconstructed bomber jackets, investigating the garment’s cultural, political, and subcultural meanings.

Popularis Series: Minimalist tile panels that elevate functional building materials into refined aesthetic compositions.

Die Fläche (The Surface): Works focusing on tactility, materiality, and industrial textures.

Selected Exhibitions

Die Fläche, PM/AM, London

Der Raum, Galerie Nathalie Halgand, Vienna

Group and solo exhibitions across Berlin, London, Vienna, Stockholm, and international institutions

Themes
Mullan’s work consistently addresses the aesthetics of labor, the codes of masculinity, and the transformation of ordinary materials into powerful visual statements. His practice blurs boundaries between high and low culture, celebrating craftsmanship while critically reflecting on socio-economic and cultural structures.

Artist:Như Huỳnh
Year of creation:2021
Dimensions:47 × 20 × 10 cm
Material:stoneware clay, pitfired
Reserved price:
Estimate price:€ - 0
About the Artist:    For Như Huỳnh, working with clay is an endless journey of discovery, a process in which she loves to lose herself and at the same time find a place of deceleration and reflection. Direct contact with the material relaxes and liberates her, opening up access to creative authenticity. She allows herself to be guided intuitively by the clay, as if it were an independent partner in dialogue, creating organic forms that tell as much through their traces and irregularities as through their shape.

For Như, clay becomes a language that conveys feelings and thoughts without words. Every irregularity, every joint, and every groove is evidence of this engagement, an archive of traces of her own sensitive perception. In her work, the creative process leads to a respite in which reflection, sensuality, and design come together.

About the Artist:    ABOUT ME

Whether by intent or accident, I am constantly observing and keeping myself available to capture what I find. I’m fascinated by states of evolving existence, the human condition in all its forms, the resilience and fragility of naturally occurring and crafted structures, facades grown worn and weary – and those that have not.

Deliberately manual, my process finds its rhythm in the doing and lives more in the immediacy of the moment – seeking the unique – than in preparation or post- production. Ideally my camera remains barely noticed.

Along with photography, I’m passionate about language.

I believe what makes an individual inimitable is as irrepressible as it is perpetual, even as we evolve over time. With my photography, I seek to capture both vivid and unseen continuities, sometimes at a distance, sometimes alluringly near.

When I perceive the onset of an attitude or posture from someone, perhaps subtle but nonetheless characteristic, I try to keep this safe. This is as true for starfish or steelworks as it is for people, and I find resonance in these fleeting revelations and details. Composing, preserving and expressing within the simultaneity of change and permanence is deeply rewarding.

Lamellen vom Kindsein

Artist:Ronja Kling
Year of creation:2025
Dimensions:100x250 cm
Material:Ink on Polyester Panels
Reserved price:
Estimate price:€ - 0
About the Artist:    I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ronja.
Growing up in the Allgäu region – close to the Alps – I was fascinated from an early age by the shapes, colors, and materials found in the pre-alpine landscape. This later grew into a passion for art, typography, design, slow fashion, illustration, paper in all its facets – and for filling my sketchbooks with drawings. That passion led me to study Communication Design in Munich.
I gained my first professional experience in advertising agencies and design studios in Munich and Hamburg. Afterwards, I pursued a degree in Time-Based Media in Hamburg to expand my creative work beyond static formats. I became fascinated by how ideas unfold over time – through film, moving images, installations, or interactive processes.
Since 2020, I have been living in Berlin, working as Head of Design at a small studio focusing on fashion, graphics, and brand development. Here, I was able to expand my expertise into fashion and shop design. The connection between visual design, materiality, and wearable formats opens up new possibilities for me to realize concepts holistically – from the initial idea to the finished product.

Artist:Lukas Pierre Bessis
Year of creation:2025
Dimensions:variabel cm
Material:Single-channel video, 4K, color, stereo, 3’45”
Reserved price:
Estimate price:€ - 0
About the Artist:    I am a Berlin-based artist and futurist, a book author, and a public speaker who gives keynotes to audiences of up to 1,000 people about what everyday life could look like in 2035. My practice spans moving image, painting, generative imagery, and ASMR audio, translating research on longevity, consent-based intimacy, climate care, and civic technologies into tangible experiences that are calm, precise, and welcoming. In We Have Time (Schlager Video) I perform on a speedboat along the Greek Riviera, using glossy pop not as irony but as a friendly surface for a tender utopia: time as shared wealth.

As a futurist and author I work with scenarios and data; as an artist I try to reach people emotionally, so that futures are not only understood but felt.

Before focusing on my current projects I collaborated with researchers, designers, and community groups at the intersection of art and technology. I am interested in forms that are generous, accessible, and durable—visual languages that people can live with, not just visit.
I live and work in Berlin.
