    About the artist

    Berlin-based artist Rian Heller was born 1980 in Munich and grew up in Düsseldorf and rural environment. From a young age, he expressed his creativity.

    The autodidact worked in the last 25 Years as Photographer, Video-Director and Graphic-Designer.

    When he gets father 7 years ago, he reminds his own Childhood and published a vegetarian Cookbook with his Mother and start painting again.

    His works are characterized by organic shapes and natural materials, drawing from the abundance of nature.

    „Painting is an inner necessity, a natural process that allows me to give more space to my intuition and simplify my view of the world”.

    In February 2024, the Group Show “On Flowers” (Curated by Dr. Almut Hüfler) at the legendary “SchauFenster” in Kreuzberg, marking the starting point to show and developing his work. Further group exhibitions followed, including with Martin Kwade, as well as a self-curated exhibition in collaboration with the OPN.ART network.
