    About the artist

She studied visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts and came to painting through it. Her works find different forms of expression in both fields, transferring conceptual thinking into the artistic process and dealing with people and their memories, dreams and feelings in her figurative painting and objects. In the process, fantastic elements are often interspersed and realities are thrown out of balance. The works for the exhibition Räume III at the former Berlin Tegel Airport are inspired by the sky and clouds.
"Clouds have to prove their existence. Planes fly through them, but no one is allowed to open a window to touch them. Our souls are permeable to clouds, maybe they are made of the same stuff." (Etel Andes)
