For Như Huỳnh, working with clay is an endless journey of discovery, a process in which she loves to lose herself and at the same time find a place of deceleration and reflection. Direct contact with the material relaxes and liberates her, opening up access to creative authenticity. She allows herself to be guided intuitively by the clay, as if it were an independent partner in dialogue, creating organic forms that tell as much through their traces and irregularities as through their shape.
