About the artist

Vanessa FarfánMexican-born German artist based in Berlin. Her work has been presented at: Gropius Bau (2022), Ars Electronica (2019), Orpheus Institute (2019), Museum FLUXUS+ (2018), Galerie Weisse Elefant (2019), and the Beijing Cultural Exhibition Center (2014). 2021 won first place in the “Kunst am Bau” (Art in Public Buildings) program in Munchen (her artwork “geCloud” will be completed in 2025). Her research papers have been published by Leuven University and Transcript Verlag. She has been an artist fellow of the Schering Stiftung (2019). Since 2018, she has been an artist fellow at the Stiftung Brandenburger Tor. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Bauhaus Universität, Weimar.
