Emil von Schönfels was born in Berlin in 2002. He is an actor and poet. "For me, art is the truest way to make myself understood, and that, I think, is all that people want and all they need for happiness: to be understood. I look around me in my present, and when something catches my eye, I express it. In expression, I find myself, for I acknowledge my experience. When others can then recognize themselves in my expression, I am understood and I understand others, and we have all come one step closer."
